The origin of salt
All the types of salt come from the sea, but not always directly. It is possible to distinguish three different origins causing a diversity of the commercialized product.

Sea salt It is obtained for the evaporation of the sea water. |

Rock salt It is extracted from subterranean deposits of salt developed down the ages. |
